Today we are in Grand Rapids, MN. I'm ever closer to home and my farm, and I can just feel it on the horizon. I haven't seen my family since Christmas, and it will be wonderful to share some quality time with them and the rest of the Bike and Build group.
Is anyone out there? Do the internet masses desire more updates? : P
I suppose as they say, "If you build it, they will come." So maybe I should just take the initiative and take more time and keep this up to date.
A note on today's ride; 85 miles into a voracious headwind gave us all a foretaste of the Midwest feast to come. It was a difficult day. Let's hope for an east wind to carry me on, away, towards, and beyond.

I know sometimes posting a blog can be like shouting into the wind. You wonder if your voice is being heard.
Well I, for one, have been keeping up with your blog and those of several of your fellow riders since the first day of your journey. I just commented on Kate's blog that I can always tell when the group gets to a place with a little extra time and an internet connection. The posts come fast and furious catching up on the past few days and fill up my reader with the feeds. Sometimes as many as 10-15 within a short period of time.
So keep posting and I'll keep reading.
Be safe and enjoy the 2nd half of your journey.
